Prohibited Bats

SFAAA follows ASA regulations regarding bats.  Click here for a Listing of legal and/or illegal bats (see exceptions below).

Note:  The following was taken from Mills Pond Park hand book regarding bats.

  1. All bats approved by USSSA are legal for league play at Mills Pond.

  2. All bats must be marked with the words “Official Softball” and should be marked with a Bat Performance Factor (BPF) of 1.20 or less.

  3. No altered bats will be allowed.

  4. No titanium bats will be allowed.

  5. A player in violation (using an illegal bat) will be ejected from the game. An out is called and all action is nullified.

Exceptions

If SFAAA, Mills Pond Park, USSSA, or ASA bans a bat, than the bat is banned regardless of who approves of the bat.
